Most large retailers recorded revenue increases in 2020, but rather unfavorable profit developments. Overall, the cumulative turnover of the top 10 retailers increased by almost 8 billion lei (+ 13%), and the cumulative profit increased by 8%. However, this seemingly excellent evolution is mainly due to the exceptional growth achieved by a few players.
